Seasonal perspective
The Mediterranean
We love the Mediterranean - but not necessarily in August.
Sometimes the question is not where to go, but when. A place can remain the same on a map while becoming an entirely different experience with a change of season.

Popularity changes a place.
Peak season has advantages, but it also changes how travellers move through a destination.
When the crowds soften, the same coastline, village or city can offer more room to linger and a different relationship with the people and places around you.
Better is personal.
There is no universally correct month to travel. Weather, atmosphere, opening hours, swimming, crowds and price all matter differently depending on the traveller.
The useful question is which version of the destination fits the journey you actually want.
Season should be part of the design.
Fogline does not treat the calendar as an afterthought. Timing can shape a journey just as much as where you stay or what you do once you arrive.
